The name Milcah comes directly from the Hebrew מלכה (milkāh), where it is the name of the daughter of Haran and wife of Nahor in Genesis 11:29. The name comes from the Hebrew מלכה (malkāh), the Hebrew word for "queen." Milcah was also the grandmother of Rebecca, wife of Isaac.
