The name Naamah or Naʿamah comes from the Hebrew נעמה (naʿamah), where it is the name for the daughter of Lamech in Genesis 4:22 and of Solomon’s Ammonite wife and the mother of Rehoboam in 1 Kings 14:21. The name comes from the Hebrew verb נעם (nāʿem), which means "to be pleasant, delightful, lovely" and yields a meaning of "pleasant, delightful."
